Humanitarian Cooperation : Meeting with the UN and WFP Representative

Deputy Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Than Soe met with Mr. Michael John Dunford, United Nations Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator ad interim and WFP Representative and Country Director, Myanmar in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.

They discussed collaboration between the Myanmar government and UN agencies in response to the recent Mandalay earthquake, including humanitarian aid, recovery efforts, and coordination with regional governments and departments.
