Humanitarian Assistance: 5th Meeting of the Task Force held in Nay Pyi Taw

The 5th Meeting of the Task Force to facilitate the provision of Humanitarian Assistance to Myanmar through the ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on Disaster Management was held in Nay Pyi Taw on 11 March.

Union Minister for International Cooperation and Chairman of Myanmar Task Force U Ko Ko Hlaing led the discussions on the matters related to the provision of humanitarian assistance from ASEAN to Myanmar through the AHA Centre, as well as distribution of humanitarian assistance on prioritized areas and needs.

The Task Force Vice Chairpersons, Union Ministers and members also exchanged views on the preparation for swift and smooth implementation of the provision of humanitarian assistance for Phase-2.
