Humanitarian Assistance: 2nd Ad-hoc Coordination Meeting of the Task Force

The 2nd Ad-hoc Coordination Meeting of the Task Force to facilitate provision of Humanitarian Assistance to Myanmar through the AHA Centre was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 21st October.

The Meeting was attended by the Chair of the Task Force, Union Minister for International Cooperation U Ko Ko Hlaing, Vice Chair (1) of the Task Force, Union Minister for Health Dr. Thet Khaing Win, and members of the Task Force.

The Meeting followed up on the decisions of the 1st ad hoc meeting and discussed upon the necessary preparations for the Joint Needs Assessment for the provision of broader humanitarian assistance to the people indeed in need.

The meeting reiterated that provision of humanitarian assistance to Myanmar should uphold the principle of non-discrimination and no one leaving behind.
