Human Resource Development: MOH Union Minister met faculties of the Universities

Union Minister for Health Dr Thet Khaing Win met rectors, deans, medical superintendents, teachers and officials of the University of Medicine (2), the University of Dental Medicine (Yangon), the University of Medical Technology (Yangon) and the University of Pharmacy (Yangon) on 28 and 29 April respectively.

The Union Minister said that nurturing of health human resource becomes important as there is a good drive in the public healthcare services and treatment sector.  He emphasized the fact to nurture the human resources that could benefit for the country and its people.

The new medicine university entrance system will be introduced in the coming academic year. Those who are studying with stipends from the government must serve as the government employees for the country and people without fail.

He called for the collaborative efforts of all concerned officials of the medical-related university under the health human resource department.

The attendees later made discussion on the teaching aid materials, medical supplies and administrative matters. The Union minister later inspected the classrooms and teaching aid materials of the respective universities.
