Human Resource Development: Business Law, Geographic Information Systems courses

Magway University’s Department of Human Resource Development launched the Diploma in Business Law (DBL) and Diploma in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) courses No. 1/2022 for the 2022-2023 academic year.

In his remarks at the courses opening at the Magway University, Regional Chief Minister U Tint Lwin stressed that the courses are for sustainable development of agriculture, livestock and forestry sectors as well as watershed areas, and to reduce the damage to the natural and social environment caused by human activities.

Regarding the Diploma in Business Law Course, the Chief Minister highlighted benefits including to support the interests of Magway Region through legal education and to comply with the law in implementing the market economy system.

These 9-month courses joined by 33 trainees covers subjects including Geographic Information Systems Theory and Concept, Fundamentals of Remote Sensing Technology, Advanced mapping technology and Statistics.
