More people are expected on airplanes and highways over Thanksgiving than last year but changing habits around work and play might spread out the crowds and reduce the usual amount of holiday-travel stress.

Melissa Correa, Spokesperson, Houston Airports said "When it comes to Thanksgiving holiday travel, Houston Airports is seen a larger crowd than it did in 2019.

We're expecting to welcome close to 2.3 million passengers over the extended holiday travel season. This is expected to exceed the numbers we saw before the COVID 19 pandemic in 2019." With travelers taking to the road, rails and sky for thanksgiving, optimism is high.
