Hotels in Ayeyawady Region: Hotels at the beaches opened with safety precautions

According to the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism, at least two-third of the hotels on Chaungtha and Ngwe Saung beaches out of the hotels that were granted permission by the Ministry will be opened this Monsoon Season.

During Monsoon Season,the Beach Disciplinary Committee will supervise at the beaches for the safety of visitors according to the Directorate of Hotels & Tourism in Ayeyawady Region.

Aung Thu Oo, Head, Directorate of Hotels & Tourism, Ayeyawady Region said "We have directed the committees to constantly observe the people swimming in the sea for their safety.All the managers and employees working in those beaches are well-experienced for such situations. If a storm occurs, the respective committees and managers will carry out measures for safety of the visitors. The Ministry has been issuing license to the hotels at the beaches, so that both locals and foreigners can stay there."

35 hotels in Ngwe Saung beach and 39 hotels in ChaungTha and ShweThaung Yan beaches had been issued licenses by the Ministry.The official of the Directorate of Hotels & Tourism in Ayeyawady Region said that at least two-third of the hotels at both Ngwe Saung and Chaung Tha beaches will be opened this monsoon season.
