Hotels and Tourism: Union Minister inspects hotels in Mawlamyine

Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs and Hotels and Tourism Jeng Phang Naw Taung visited hotels in Mawlamyine of Mon State on Friday, to inspect their operations. Accompanied by Mon State government officials and members of the Mon State Hotel Entrepreneurs Association, the Union Minister inspected Royal Mawlamyine Hotel and Ngwe Moe Hotel.

Officials explained the hotel’s accommodation services and event hosting. The Union Minister urged the hotel to continue improving service quality and to prioritize guest satisfaction and safety. He also encouraged management to enhance staff training, improve security personnel skills, and take preventive measures against fire and electrical hazards during the hot season. The Union Minister also called for collective efforts to further develop the hotel and tourism sector to support Mon State’s economic growth.
