Hotels and Tourism: MoHT Union Minister attended training opening ceremony

In the efforts of systematic sustainable development of tourism industry in Myanmar by the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism, the Hotel and travel service trainings and language trainings are opening continuously in regions and states including Nay Pyi Taw Council with the aims at the capacity development of the entrepreneurs in the hotels and tourism industry, creation of more job opportunity, increase of individual income and the poverty alleviation through the tourism sector.

The Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism Dr. Htay Aung attended the opening ceremony of hotel and tourism service organized by the Hoteliers Association in Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on 17th December.

At the opening ceremony, the Union Minister gave an opening remark regarding with the development of the hotels and tourism sector.

Next, the joint secretary of the hoteliers association clarified the reasons brought about the training and the purposes of the training. The Union Minister inspected the training activities in the training room.

The training is attended 45 trainees and the training will give the four courses of reception, catering of food and beverages, arrangement and preparation and the room keeping.

afterward, the Union Minister viewed the products of organic crops, displaying of hotel services and the utilization of solar power and gave the necessary instructions, it’s learnt.
