




Under the guidance of the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism and with the support of the Shan State Government, the opening ceremony of three hotel service training courses was held at the Royal Taunggyi Hotel in Taunggyi on June 23.
At the event, Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung stated that the training courses aim to improve the service quality provided by staff currently working in hotels, guesthouses, licensed lodgings, and restaurants. Whether visitors come to the region for business or leisure, they should receive quality services. Therefore, experienced instructors will deliver both theoretical and practical lessons using modern teaching aids and curriculum materials. He emphasized that trainees should make the most of their time by learning attentively to gain valuable knowledge and experience.
Following his remarks, the Chief Minister and officials took a group photo with the trainees and offered words of encouragement in a friendly and cordial manner.
It was reported that the three hotel service training courses will be attended by 90 trainees from hotels in Taunggyi and will be conducted from June 23 to July 18 by three instructors.
