







An award ceremony to honor the children of staff from the Ministry of Energy who successfully passed the 2024-2025 academic year matriculation examination was held at the Yatanā Hall of the Ministry of Energy in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday. Union Minister U Ko Ko Lwin attended the event and delivered a speech.
First, in his address, the Union Minister said that the outstanding students receiving awards today are enjoying the fruits of their efforts, starting from Kindergarten and throughout their basic education journey. He stated that the award-winning students need to continue striving to further improve their qualities and to be able to contribute to the good of the organization, the nation, and the world.
He mentioned that in today's 21st century, with the development of technology, Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology is already being widely applied across various fields. He expressed that proficient use of AI technology will greatly contribute to the future development of the country.
Therefore, he urged students to choose and study foundational subjects for AI technology, such as Mathematics, Computer Science, and Engineering, to ensure the country does not fall behind the times. Subsequently, the Union Minister and officials presented cash awards, honorary badges, and certificates of honor to the distinction students who excelled in the 2024-2025 academic year matriculation examination.
Afterwards, on behalf of the students, Maung Phone Kyaw Myat, a distinction student with six distinctions, expressed words of thanks. The award-winning students then honorably performed the Myanmar Student Song. The Union Minister, Deputy Minister, Directors General, and Managing Directors took commemorative group photos with the award-winning students.
