Honouring Ceremony: Athletes who won medals in SEA Games honoured

A ceremony to honour athletes from Shan State who won gold, silver and bronze medals for Myanmar at the 31st SEA Games and welcome State/Region U-25 men and women volley competitive teams for 2022 was held at the Taunggyi City hall on 16th June.

At the event, Shan State Chief Minister Dr Kyaw Tun said that the State Government is endeavouring for the development of sports sector as much as possible and is fulfilling the needs for the accommodation, transportation and food of the athletes.

He called on the athletes to compete the best in the 2022 State and Region Volleyball Championships in combination with their skills and abilities to become outstanding ones.

Later, the 2022 State/Region U-25 men and women volley teams introduced and the Shan State Chief Minister presented honoraria for the athletes who won gold, silver and bronze medals at the SEA Games through officials.

Later, the State Chief Minister and officials cordially greeted Region and State competitive volley teams.
