Honoring Educational Achievement: MoRAC Union Minister Presented Outstanding Awards

The ceremony of presenting educational outstanding prizes and providing educational assistance was held at the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture in the morning on July 6 with the attendance of Union Minister U Ko Ko, deputy ministers U Aye Tun and Dr. Moe Zaw Tun, permanent secretary U Myint Oo, director generals, rectors, deputy permanent secretaries and and deputy director generals, officials concerned, parents and students.

In his remark, the Union Minister U Ko Ko said that this is a ceremony encouraging and honoring the students who made work hard and achieved the educational success.

As this ceremony is especially honored the students, the students are urged to work hard with exerted efforts etc. Next, the union minister awarded the certificate of honor and cash of honor to three students who passed the matriculation examination with four distinctions and three distinctions each.

The deputy minister U Aye Tun awarded the certificate of honor and cash of honor to 9 students who passed the exam with two distinctions and deputy minister Dr. Moe Zaw Tun to 8 students with one distinction. Next, the permanent secretary and director generals gave the certificate of honor and cash of honor to the students including those who passed the exam with one distinction and those who passed ordinarily and the officials concerned accepted them.

Then, Maung Thant Zaw who passed the exam with four distinctions extended words of thanks on behalf of the students and the union minister, deputy ministers, permanent secretary, director generals, rectors and students posed for the documentary group photo.
