Honoring athletes: Bago Region CM honored the medal winner athletes

The Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win graced the honoring ceremony for the athletes who brought the honor of the region held at the Bago Township Hall in the morning on September 6.   

At the ceremony, the chief minister U Myo Swe win said the sports shows the good health and fitness, perseverance, exerted efforts and unity of the country and it’s a fair competition of ability. Those who fairly competed in the international, region and states competitions with diligence and grabbed the medals they deserved, performed to hoist the national flag amidst the international communities and brought the honor of the country and the Bago Region are thankful. All are urged to put more efforts for the next competitions and the region will support with the necessaries.

Next, the chief minister U Myo Swe Win, Chief Justice of the Region High Court Daw Lwin Lwin Aye Kyaw and the officials of the region government handed the cash prize of honor and certificate of honor to the gold, silver and bronze medal winners in the 11th ASEAN Para Games hosted by Indonesia, athletes who secured bronze medal at ASEAN level qualifying youth tennis competition hosted by Thailand and the medal winners in the 2022 Regions and States competition.

Then, an athlete on behalf all athletes who brought the honor of the country expressed words of thanks and a documentary group photo was taken, it’s reported.
