Heavy rain rescue operations

As heavy rain continued to batter multiple cities in south China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, rescue operations were mobilized to evacuate stranded residents and vehicles and drain floodwater from roads.

In Yulin City, the water level at an intersection rose significantly on Wednesday morning, triggering a prompt response from rescue teams. They quickly evacuated stranded people and vehicles to safety using fire trucks. Since Sunday, heavy rainfalls have brought floodwater up to 2.23 meters above the warning level to 11 rivers in Guangxi.
