
The meeting with the hospital superintendents who are transferred duty according to the requirement of tasks to the central level hospitals and 200-beds and above people’s hospitals was held at the meeting hall of the ministry of health and sports on Thursday.
At the meeting, the union minister for health and sports Dr. Thet Khaing Win said that the people’s hospitals need to operate in full strength although those are giving healthcare for more patients. It’s urged to serve with loyalty and duty consciousness in giving healthcare services.
As the transferred hospital superintendants are the experienced ones, it’s needed to address the tasks of treatments, repairing and maintenance of hospital medical equipments, financial management, management on medicines not to be expired and waste, carrying out in line with the procedure for the staffs who are away from their duty etc. Next, the hospital superintendants submitted the necessaries and the union minister and director-generals coordinated on the requirements. Also present at the meeting were the responsible officials from the ministry and the 13 transfered hospital superintendants, it’s learnt.
