Health Care Services : Visiting the hospitals in Nay Pyi Taw

Union Minister for Health Prof. Dr. Thet Khaing Win visited the Nay Pyi Taw Children’s Specialist Hospital and Nay Pyi Taw Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialist Hospital on Friday to inspect ongoing healthcare services after both hospitals were temporarily relocated due to damage from the Mandalay earthquake.

At the Children’s Hospital, the Union Minister met with patients, families, doctors, nurses, and staff, encouraging them and emphasizing the importance of patient safety and high-quality renovation work to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.

The Union Minister then proceeded to the Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, where he inspected outpatient, maternity, delivery, surgical, and neonatal care units. The Union Minister also comforted the patients. He then met with the staff, urging quick completion of repairs to damaged buildings with good construction quality and effective continuation of healthcare services.
