Health Care Services: Field medical trip in Tanintharyi Region

The specialist medical teams under the Ministry of Health are conducting field medical trips in various regions and states to ensure healthy lives, promote well-being for all citizens at all ages and access to vital healthcare services and health coverage.

The medical treatment was provided to a total of 2,724 residents from Dawei and nearby area, by the specialists medical team comprising of professors/specialists from North Okkalapa, Thangangyun and Insein People’s Hospitals and Yangon University of Medicine (2) in cooperation with the medical personnel from Dawei People’s Hospital from 8th to 10th March under the program the Ministry of Health.

During the field trip, some patients were transferred to related hospitals in Yangon for further treatment. Field medical treatments have been provided by professors/specialists from Yangon, Mandalay and Nay Pyi Taw and 11 trips have conducted during this year.
