The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency on Thursday said both Russia and Ukraine agreed that the initiative of having talks to ensure the safety of Ukraine's nuclear facilities was "worth pursuing", and had shown their willingness to work with the IAEA to come up with an agreed framework.

Director-general of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi held talks in Turkey earlier in the day with the foreign ministers of Russia and Ukraine in the hope of kick-starting an agreement to safeguard Ukraine's nuclear facilities amid Russia's military operation.
