Greek zoo celebrates new arrivals

Two ring-tailed lemurs, one Grant's zebra, and four European wildcats were born in the last few weeks in an Athens zoo. The Attica Zoological Park, located in Spata, east of Athens, also welcomed 11 wild boars and three Bennett's wallaby.

Spring is normally the best season to visit and meet all the newborns. The park had been closed for most of 2021 including that year's spring, due to the coronavirus pandemic.
