Macron and Guinean President Wadagni sign key pacts

French President Emmanuel Macron hosted Guinean President Romuald Wadagni at the Élysée Palace on Monday, culminating in the signing of several bilateral cooperation agreements.

The discussions focused heavily on deepening the strategic partnership between France and Benin across economic, cultural, and structural domains. The talks also covered broader geopolitical stability in West Africa and followed up on cooperative frameworks discussed during recent multi-lateral initiatives, such as the Africa Forward summit aimed at modernizing France-Africa relations.
