









On 26th October, the 33rd Graduation Ceremony of Yezin Agricultural University was held at the convocation hall of the university in Zeyathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw.
Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Min Naung attended the ceremony and made a speech. In his speech, the Union Minister highlighted the pivotal role of the graduates in nation’s economic growth which substantially relies on agriculture sector.
Elaborating on accurate utilization of natural resources and technologies in crop production industry, the Union Minister called for the exerted efforts of the individuals in accelerating value-added production. Moreover, the Union Minister encouraged on continuous learning and improving of modern and essential technology skills including AI to ensure high yield, accurate weather forecasts, precise growing methods, effective pest prevention and control, etc.
The Union Minister also encouraged the graduates to become reliable and skillful professionals who can contribute to nation’s agriculture sector development. Then, the Union Minister presented honorary awards to the highest marks achievers.
During the ceremony, degrees were presented to 295 Bachelor of Agricultural Science graduates, 44 Master of Agricultural Science graduates, 9 Doctor of Agricultural Science graduates and 7 Postgradute Diploma in Agriculture graduates, it’s reported.
