GOP: Biden Russia response 'too little, too late'

Republican members of the House Foreign Affairs Commitee say President Joe Biden's actions to punish Russian leaders for their invasion of Ukraine is "too little, too late."

Rep. Nicole Malliotakis who represents Staten Island and parts of Brooklyn, New York said "It was very frustrating that the president waited until after the invasion to impose those sanctions, knowing that it would take time for the impact to kick in,".

Meanwhile, the Biden administration wants Congress to provide $6.4 billion to pay for an initial U.S. response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, with much of it for military and humanitarian assistance in the region, two people familiar with the request said Friday.
