
At the invitation of Army General Sergei Kuzhugetovich Shoigu, Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, Myanmar Goodwill Delegation led by the Chairman of State Administration Council, Commander In Chief of Defense Services, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing departed from Nay Pyi Taw by special flight of Myanmar Airways International (MAI) to Russian Federation to attended the 9th Moscow Conference on International Security-2021 (MCIS-2021) in the morning on June 20.
Myanmar Goodwill Delegation led by the Chairman of State Administration Council, Commander In Chief of Defense Services, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing was seen off by the Vice Chairman of State Administration Council, Deputy Commander In Chief of Defense Services, Commander In Chief (Army) Senior General Soe Win, council members, union ministers, Senior Tatmataw officials from the office of commander in chief (Army), commander of Nay Pyi Taw command, ambassador of Russian Federation to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Nikolay A. Listopadov and officials at the airport. Chairman of State Administration Council, Commander In Chief of Defense Services is accompanied by the council member Lt. Gen. Moe Myint Tun, council joint-secretary Lt. Gen. Ye Win Oo, commander in chief (Navy) General Moe Aung, Senior Tatmataw officials from the office of commander in chief, chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council, Nay Pyi Taw Mayor Dr. Maung Maung Naing, deputy minister for investment and foreign economic relations U Than Aung Kyaw, military attaché of Russian Federation to Myanmar Colonel Sergei Kurchenko, outstanding prize winner officers from Tatmataw and the responsible military and civil officials. During the trip, the 9th Moscow Conference on International Security-2021 (MCIS-2021) will be attended, the meeting and discussion with the military and civil officials will be held, visiting the landmark places and observing the universities, factories and workshops will be conducted.
The delegation of Tatmataw (Navy) led by the commander in chief (Navy) General Moe Aung will also participate the International Maritime Defence Show-IMDS to be held in the Saint Petersburg city, it’s learnt.
