Giant kites soar at International Kite Festival

Tourists and locals have gathered on the beach at Berck, in northern France, for the 37th edition of the International Kite Festival. The beach is filled with thousands of kites of all shapes and sizes during the festive period.
Qian Liu, Chinese student said "I feel like it's kind of a dreamland or like Disneyland or this kind of feeling. All these creatures, they are like out of your imagination. They look very natural but also very imaginative. It's really cool, it feels like something appears in my dream."
The spectators around the world come to the beach to see the world's best kite-makers and their creations. The International Kite Festival in Berck is the largest and most influential kite-themed event, held annually in France. This year festival is set to run from 20th to 28th April.
