Germany stepping up military aid to Ukraine

Germany's Foreign Minister AnnalenaBaerbock told the UN General Assembly on Tuesday her country is stepping up military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

Germany’s Foreign Minister,AnnalenaBaerbock said “Russia's war "marks a new reality. It requires each and every one of us to take a firm and responsible decision and to take a side," "My country is stepping up its support to Ukraine for medicine, for food, humanitarian goods and shelter to refugees. So are many of us here today and I applaud you for it."

The General Assembly is holding an emergency session to consider a resolution condemning the Russian assault on Ukraine which began last week.
