German Chancellor Olaf Scholz arrives in Beijing

Federal Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz arrived in Beijing on Monday night, the third stop on his three-day official visit to China.Scholz was greeted by Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Deng Li at the airport. He visited southwest China’s Chongqing Municipality on Sunday, and Shanghai on Monday.This is Scholz’s second visit to China since taking office in 2021.
