Gems and Jewellery: Union Minister inspected Gems Trading Center

The Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Khin Maung Yi together with deputy minister U Min Min Oo and departmental officials inspected Gems Trading Center in Dakkhinathiri Township Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on Friday.

During the inspection tour, the responsible persons from Myanmar Gems and Jewelry Entrepreneurs Association clarified the construction of Shwe Kyar Pin finished Jewellery products market, implementation for the works of Gems Trading Center as quickly as possible and the requirements for rending One Stop Service (OSS) in Nay Pyi Taw to export finished Jewellery products and the union minister coordinated necessaries.

Next, the union minister and party viewed the cutting of raw jade stones, developing designs, outlining designs, processes from the stage of raw to the finished product of bracelet, finger rings and beads and inspected the storage of state-owned jades.

And the Union Minister also attended the coordination meeting on the development of jade finished product industries held in line with the COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measure at the meeting room of Myanmar Jewelery Mart and coordinated requirements.
