Garment Industry: MOI Union Minister inspects Shwe Taung Garment Factory

Union Minister for Industry Dr Charlie Than visited No.1 Garment Factory in ShweTaung of Bago Region on 10th December, and inspected the process of installing the machinery equipment for dying the fabric.

No.3 Heavy Industries and Tsuyatomo Co., Ltd. of Japan established a joint venture company for the process, and the Union Minister instructed to study the maintenance work, operation of the machines and dying techniques from the Japanese experts.

On the 11th, the Union Minister heard reports on the work undertakings by the factory manager, and urged them to make constant study for modern manufacturing techniques and drafting plan for human resource development.
