Fund For Regional Development: Chin State Chief Minister Attends Coordination Meeting

A coordination meeting on providing financial assistance from the State economic promotion fund for Chin State was held at the State Government Office in Hakha on the 6th September.

At the meeting, Chin State Chief Minister Dr Wong HsunHtan said that this is the 2nd meeting on the State economic promotion fund and urged the state level departmental officials to report the action plans to be implemented by respective departments with the fund. Later, the Chin State Economic Affairs Minister gave suggestions that the State economic promotion fund is a loan and the regional development and boosting productivities need to be carried out with the fund. 

As it needs to supervise on repaying the loans on time, the persons from wards and villages should be involved in the township supervisory board. Afterwards, officials from the state level departmental officials reported on the action plans to be implemented by respective departments through power point presentation. The State Ministers and concerned officials supplemented on the reports on which the Chief Minister coordinated essentials.
