Fund for disabilities: Meeting on revolving fund for disabilities held

The clarification meeting in connection with the arrangements made and work plans to be implemented on 3 billion Kyats fund regarding the rights of persons with disabilities was held at the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement, Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on Friday.

At the meeting, the decision at the meeting (1/2022) of National Committee for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities to undertake the works with the 3 billion Kyats regarding the rights of persons with disabilities as revolving fund, to accumulate the revolving fund without wasting, arrangements of work implementations to provide the disable persons effectively, to form the loan disbursement committee, supervisory committee for loans and loan scrutinizing committee were discussed.

The meeting was attended by the Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Thet Thet Khine, deputy minister U Aung Tun Khaing and departmental officials, it’s learnt.
