Frozen Meat Production Site: MoALI DM inspected the frozen meat production site

Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Dr. Aung Gyi visited Kyant Nyar Co., Ltd in Htein Inn Village, Lewei Township of Nay Pyi Taw on 13th August. There, the Deputy Minister inspected the arrangements to conduct cattle farming and frozen meat production at the designated area.

Subsequently, the Deputy Minister visited a private livestock farm in Yathay Taung Village, inspected the condition of broiler chickens and pigs, instructed on animal infectious disease prevention and biosecurity.

On arrival at Ta lote Pin Village, the Deputy Minister visited a cattle farm jointly established by Doh Myanmar and Kyan Tine Aung cooperative associations, met with the officials and stressed to prove necessary assistance for the development of small scale livestock enterprises to ensure the long-term sustainability of livestock sector. 

In the afternoon, the Deputy Minister met with the livestock entrepreneurs at the General Administration Department in Lewei Township, elaborated on development of dairy products, price stability, acceleration of export substitute production, job opportunities for local residents and called on concerted efforts of the departmental officials and private sector for the successful implementation of livestock breeding enterprises initiated by State Economic Promotion Fund.
