











Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and delegation members on 10th September, arrived at Ulan-Ude Railway Station which is essential for Trans-Siberian rail road and Trans-Mongolian Railroad.
At RZD “Russian Railways’ Company, the delegation observed the manufacturing of electric powered, diesel powered and natural powered locomotives and coaches, operation technologies and building of rail roads.
They also discussed the possible conditions for cooperation in rail transportation. The Prime Minister also answered the journalists on his visit to the Republic of Buryatia, suggestions and opinion on cooperation between Russia and Myanmar according to geo-politic situation.
The Prime Minister and party later enjoyed train ride from Ulan-Ude to Irkutsk Oblast. The RZD “Russian Railways” Company is a state-owned company, and its Headquarters is situated in Red Gates Square in Moscow.
The company was established in September 2003, and is providing management works for train services. It is a Joint-stock Company and also operates the factories related to rail transportation. On arrival at Passazhirskiy Station in Irkutsk, they were welcomed by the Governor of Irkutsk Oblast Mr. Igor Ivanovich Kobzev and officials.
They later held discussion with the Governor at the latter’s office, and discussed for investments opportunities, cooperation in health, tourism, youth exchange program, and agriculture works. The Prime Minister and party later visited the Memorial Eternal Flame, and laid wreath for the fallen soldiers who sacrificed lives during the second World War.
At night, the Governor of Irkutsk hosted a dinner in honor of the delegation. The Prime Minister and the Governor extended greetings, saying that 10th September is the 85th anniversary of the establishment of Irkutsk Oblast, and commemorative ceremonies are being celebrated.
They wished for peace and tranquility of the people of Irkutsk for many years to come. After the dinner, the Prime Minister and delegation members, together with the Governor, enjoyed the display of fireworks in honour of the 85th anniversary of the Irkutsk Oblast.
