Friendly Relations: Meeting with the delegation of Thailand

President U Min Aung Hlaing received a delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkaew in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday.

During the meeting, they discussed matters on strengthening the friendly relations. promoting cooperation in prevailing peace and stability in border area, combating drug trafficking and online gambling, and reducing the transboundary haze pollution, The discussion also focused on promoting border trade, Myanmar's successful election and transition to democracy, invitation for peace talks and humanitarian matters.

Thailand also pledged to cooperate in Myanmar's peace process and discussed for collaboration in agriculture, livestock, investment, electricity, energy and production sectors.
