Friendly Music Concert: Joint Cultural Performance held in Yangon

A joint cultural performance featuring artists from Myanmar, Russia, and Belarus was held at the National Theatre in Dagon Township of Yangon on Saturday.

The event was attended by Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn, Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, government officials, representatives from the Russia-Myanmar Friendship Association, artists and students from the National University of Arts and Culture (Yangon), and invited guests.

The show began with a video titled "From Cultural Exchange to Friendship", followed by welcoming remarks and artist introductions. Performances included traditional and modern songs and dances from all three countries, featuring themes of friendship, culture, and unity.

At the end of the event, the Union Minister and the Chief Minister presented a flower basket as tokens of appreciation to the performers, and the Belarus music group leader also presented commemorative gifts to the Union Minister, Chief Minister, and Mayor of Yangon.
