At the inauguration of a memorial garden in Strasbourg, French Deputy Minister for Combating Discrimination, Aurore Bergé, highlighted the continued presence of anti-Semitism, which she described as adapting and manifesting in various forms.

Speaking at the site of a former synagogue destroyed by the Nazis, Bergé called for vigilance, stressing that anti-Semitism persists through acts of vandalism, online hate speech and rising anti-Zionism, all of which threaten societal unity. She urged collective action to address these ongoing challenges.
