France hosts international meeting on Israeli-Palestinian dialogue

France hosted over 100 Israeli and Palestinian civil society leaders in Paris on Friday. Spearheaded by French Foreign Minister, the conference aimed to preserve hopes for peace and promote dialogue as formal diplomatic negotiations have stalled.

The landmark gathering, which also included international officials and ministers from roughly 40 states, focused on grassroots peacebuilding rather than formal state-level politics. Participants presented a roadmap urging G7 leaders to support an immediate permanent ceasefire, unimpeded humanitarian aid, the return of hostages, and the protection of civil society actors.
