Fourth Conference: Election of leadership and press conference

The Fourth Conference of the Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP) concluded at the USDP Headquarters in Nay Pyi Taw on September 20.

USDP Chairman U Khin Yi attended the two-day conference, together with party members, invited guests and media personnel. During the conference, U Khin Yi was elected as Chairman, while U Myat Hein and U Thaung Aye were selected as Vice-Chairmen. U Tin Aung Chit was selected as General Secretary and U Aung Soe as Joint General Secretary, along with 46 Central Executive Committee members. A press conference was also held, following the conference.
