Foreign Domestic Helpers worked illegally

More arrests have been made as Hong Kong’s Immigration authorities crack down on the city’s illegal workers.

Three suspected illegal workers were taken away for investigation on Monday by Immigration staff. Seven suspected illegal workers were arrested,consisting of one male and six females aged between 24 and 49.

Three of them are full-time foreign domestic helpers, while the remaining four are over stayers. Authorities reminded that foreign domestic helpers who perform illegal work are liable to a maximum fine of 50,000 dollars and up to two years in jail.
