Forced Labour Complaints: Solving Complaints By High Level Working Group

Myanmar has been cooperating with the ILO in solving forced labour complaints by establishing a complaint mechanism in 2007.

Since the beginning of this year, the Ministry of Labour, Immigration and Population is making efforts to set up a National Complaints Mechanism to tackle the forced labour complaints.

During the interim period before setting up the Mechanism, a High Level Working Group (HLWG) composed of representatives from concerned ministries is going to handle the forced labour complaints.

Complaints can be raised through hotline numbers and emails.
