First Aid training: Completion of first aid training held in Taunggyi University

The ceremony of completing First Aid (basic) training in Taunggyi University in 2022-2023 academic year was held at the University in the evening on July 8 with the attendance of Shan State Chief Minister Dr. Kyaw Tun and members of state government.

In his speech, the Chief Minister Dr. Kyaw Tun highlighted the role and importance of First Aid service and skills.

Next, the chief minister awarded the cash prizes to the outstanding trainees, secretary of state government, state advocate general and state minister for security and border affairs also presented the prizes, the chairman of Shan State (South) Red Cross Societies Supervisory Committee U Nyi Nyi presented Advance First Aid Kits to the Taunggyi University Red Cross Society and a responsible person from Taunggyi University accepted. Then, the rector of Taunggyi University Dr. Kaythi Tin presented the certificate of completing first aid training to the instructors and trainees.

Afterward, the Chief Minister and Rector awarded the gift of honor to the instructors and the chief minister presented cash of honor to the trainees who demonstrated the first aid skills, it’s reported.
