Firefighters leave after dousing Jakarta ammo depot blaze

Firefighters have managed to extinguish a blaze that levelled an ammunition warehouse in Bogor, Indonesia after a series of explosions, an officer said on Sunday. The explosion was occurred on Saturday at a depot used to store expired ammo inside a military complex.

Authorities had evacuated nearby residents to safer areas as the fire tore through the storage facility. Jakarta city military chief Hasan said that the warehouse had no electricity and the explosion might have been caused by unstable expired ammunition.
