Financial Audit: Union Auditor General Office opens refresher course

The Union Auditor General Office opened refresher course (2/2022) for assistant directors and staff officers at its training school in the Nay Pyi Taw on Monday in line with COVID-19 guidelines.

At the event, Union Auditor General Dr Kan Zaw said that this refresher course aims for capacity building of the staffs of Union Auditor General office, enhancing their knowledge and applying the knowledge from the course at their practical work field.

The subjects such as audit of financial accounts, following rules and regulations or not and checking in accordance with procedures, international inspection standards and workplace inspection manuals will be conducted at the course.

Later, the Principal of Nay Pyi Taw training school of the Union Auditor General Office explained the salient points of the course.

A total of 49 trainees including 21 assistant directors and 28 staff officers from relevant divisions of Head-offices are attending the course. 

6 subjects including ISSAI Based Financial Audit, ISSAI Based Performance Audit, ISSAI Based Compliance Audit would be taught from 9th to 26th May in line with COVID-19 rules.
