Field Medical Service Program: MoH UM met and encouraged the patients

The Ministry of Health is implementing specialized field treatment programs by specialist doctors from general hospitals, tailored to each region and state.

This aims to provide the public with easy access to necessary treatments at low cost, enable early detection and treatment of diseases, and ensure everyone can live a long, healthy, and full life span. On the morning of October 26, the Union Minister for Health, Professor Dr. Thet Khaing Win, accompanied by responsible officials, visited the special field treatment program led by the Hospital Superintendent Dr. Thura and specialist doctors from Yangon Eastern General Hospital at Ywartanshae Pariyatti Sarthintaik in Mayangon Township, Yangon Region.

The Union Minister met with and encouraged patients and their family members who came for treatment, and also met with all the specialist doctors and team members providing care. He gave instructions to further strengthen the field treatment services and patient care, and provided cooking oil and cash rewards.

In the afternoon, the Union Minister and officials visited Insein General Hospital. They went to the Emergency Department, General Disease Treatment Ward, and Rabies Vaccination Unit. They met with and offered words of encouragement to patients and their family members who came for treatment.

The Union Minister also met with the serving Hospital Superintendent, specialist doctors, assistant doctors, medical trainees, and nurses. He instructed them to ensure timely emergency treatment for patients, to provide satisfactory treatment and services for both patients/their attendants and healthcare staff, to conduct essential basic laboratory tests, and to provide 24-hour emergency diagnostic services. Necessary instructions were given regarding these matters, it’s reported.
