Farewell Call: MoIC Union Minister Met Thai Ambassador

Union Minister for International CooperationU Ko Ko Hlaing received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Mrs.Suphatra Srimaitreephithak, who is leaving Myanmar after completion of her tour of duty on 8 March in Nay Pyi Taw.

During the farewell call, the Union Minister expressed appreciation to the Thai government for its continuous contributions to Myanmar through ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on Disaster Management (AHA) in support of Myanmar’s efforts to combat and contain COVID-19.

They also cordially exchanged views on the traditional friendly relations and bilateral cooperation between Myanmar and Thailand, as well as on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
