Fake News: Fabricated news on incident in Myit Chay Township

One of the illegal destructive media outlets, KhitThit Media, is spreading misinformation through social media platform, alleging that the joint security forces burned down and took the valuables in Falum O , Chai  and Yay Kyi Villages of MyitChay Township in Magway Region on 27th February. 

In response, a security official from Magway Region refuted the allegations, asserting that the news is fabricated leading to misunderstanding. The true incident is that the PDF insurgents have been extorting money from the local residents, along with the arrests and killing people in some villages in MyitChay Township.

The security forces are carrying out the security operations in those areas on 27th February when the local resident informed that PDF insurgents are committing terror acts. Due to the operations of the security forces, PDF insurgents ran away and setting the houses on fire in Falum O village. The terrorists and subversive Medias are spreading propaganda to mislead the public and degrade the reputation of the security forces.
