Expected to cost between 69.7 and 89.9 million patacas

According to the bids submitted by seven companies, the construction of new Central Library in Macau, China will take a maximum of 450 working days and is expected to cost between 69.7 and 89.9 million patacas.

The project includes the demolition of the old hotel structure and the construction of the foundations and basement of the new library. As the design scheme, the three-storey library, with a basement for storage, will have a total gross floor area of over 12,000 square metres, including the main library space, conference rooms, study area and public reading area.
