Exchanged Views: MoE UM received UNICEF resident representative

Union Minister for Education, Dr. Chaw Chaw Sein, received UNICEF Resident Representative to Myanmar, Mr. Yasumasa Kimura, at the meeting room of the Ministry of Education, Office No. 13, in Nay Pyi Taw on August 7.

During the meeting, they exchanged views and discussed potential cooperation in the areas including the teacher education, basic education, and non-formal education sectors, the implementation status of the Southeast Asia Primary Learning Metrics (SEA-PLM) assessment, the possibility for students who have passed the Grade 9 level of basic education to attend industrial, agricultural, and livestock-based high schools.
