Events In Sagaing Region: Fun Fairs, Martial Art And COVID-19 Prevention

In commemoration of the 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Union Day, Sagaing Region Government organized a fun fair and sports competitions at the Sports Ground in MonYwa on 1st February.

Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw encouraged the students, participating in the competitions, and presented medals and cash awards to the winners at Tug-of-War competition. The prizes were also presented to the winners at other competitions for fun activities.

On the 2nd, the Chief Minister met with the Sagaing Region Traditional Martial Art Team, to be competed in the Region/State Traditional Martial Art Competition, and presented the Victory Flag and honorary cash award. On the 3rd, the Chief Minister attended a coordination meeting for prevention, control and treatment of COVID-19 in Sagaing Region.

The meeting discussed the vaccination, security, daily infection, treatment and hospitalization, oxygen production and usage and health screening condition.
