Establishment of model villages: Union Minister inspected villages in Nay Pyi Taw Council Area

The Union Minister for Cooperative and Rural Development U Hla Moe made a tour to the villages of Nay Pyi Taw Council area to be implemented as model villages to fulfill necessaries including development of infrastructure, agriculture, livestock breeding and rural industries on October 26.

First, the union minister and party met with the members of village development committees and villages’ elders from the villages of Tatkone Township, Pyinmana Township and Lewe Township, inquired the implementations of villages development works.

In responding the reports of the village population, the union minister explained the implementations of socio-economic development works, uplifting of cooperative sector and the village development works with the linkage of small and medium enterprises and urged the villagers to actively cooperate for the all-round development of the village.

Then, the departmental officials clarified the process of establishing modernized model villages and made the necessary suggestions. The union minister coordinated requirements. The Ministry of Cooperative and Rural Development will implement the modernized model villages at Gwaybin village in Tatkone Township, Kyun Oo Village of Pyinmana Township and Thaw Hmaw Kone Village of Lewe Township, it’s reported.
